There are some beautiful western sculptures out here in Avon, Colorado. It makes me think of the rugged individualism that built this country. The cowboy represents free will and self-determination. But through the prism of modern politics, it looks different to me.

New 3/31/10: The problem is that Obama sees that horse he is roping as the "greedy wealthy American." He has taken an autocratic oath to wrangle him to the ground. What he is really doing is taking away the initiative of the American spirit ... the idea that you could start from nothing and become the self-made man. This is the whole concept (duh) that built this country! Now he is calling companies to the carpet, so to speak, because they publicly revealed the millions and billions of dollars collectively that Obamacare will cost them. The real consequences of Obamacare get revealed and they get called to the goon squad congress? Now these companies will have to hire a bunch of lawyers to fight the illegal search and seizure of private documents. I almost can't believe I'm talking about this.
